Learn, collaborate, and leave a mark on the reefs of the Maldives
Do you want to travel with purpose and actively contribute to protecting our oceans? With our Coral Project program, you’ll join a dedicated team working on coral reef restoration and the conservation of key marine species like manta rays and sharks.
During a stay of 1 week to 1 month, you’ll live on a local island, receive theoretical training in marine biology, learn coral restoration techniques, species identification, and take part in hands-on field activities. All guided by marine professionals and using materials designed to help you learn step by step.
It’s a transformative, educational, and human experience—perfect for students, ocean lovers, or eco-conscious travelers looking to make a positive impact.
Bring a swimsuit, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent. We recommend bringing a waterproof notebook, USB drive or hard disk for notes and digital materials. All technical and underwater gear will be provided. If you have your own mask or fins, feel free to bring them for added comfort. And most importantly, don’t forget to bring an open mind, curiosity, and a desire to contribute.
Are you an instructor or run a dive center and want to organize trips with your students or clients?
At NokuTravel, we have partnership plans designed especially for you. You can create your own groups for our liveaboard trips, island stays, or training experiences. Additionally, we offer the possibility for your students to complete full diving courses (Open Water, Advanced, etc.) in paradise destinations like the Maldives or Panama, and return home as certified divers.
